Hays Technical Services is Mike Cato.

I have been "playing" with and developing software for computers from the waning days of punch cards, early personal computers such as the TRS-80 series, embedded systems using Z-80, 680xx in industrial controls, VAXen in ion implanters, Sun workstations, the AMD 29K family, and Windows and Linux servers and computers.

My current focus is on helping small businesses take advantage of technology when it's ready for them. This often takes the form of pushing to take the next step or holding someone back because the technology isn't mature or economical enough yet.

I pride myself in recommending the right equipment andsoftware with a good value for my clients, and seeing that recommendation increase the productivity of their business.
